Photographs of the Shed Christmas party held at the Waterwheel Gallery, 2023.
Wednesday 3rd April the Shed played host to the Mens Sheds W.A. Foothills Zone meeting. Twenty four representatives from some eight sheds attended, with Jaxon and Bec of MSWA organising us to talk about our own sheds and experiences. The Mens Sheds WA Chaplain gave us a very interesting address which was followed by an excellent lunch, provided by the ladies from the CWA. After lunch attendees were invited to have a look at our Shed and our various projects. The afternoon was completed by a talk from our own Treasurer Henry, on dealing with the various authorities involved in running a shed, with the afternoon concluding with a talk from Gary of Carbatec on the importance of removing fine dust from a shed's atmosphere.
The meeting was held at the Waterwheel Gallery, thanks to the kindness of Michael and Chryl.

Our first outing at the Bedfordale Market this Saturday was very successful, with sales of 2 x possum boxes and 2 x pens. Thanks go to Ronnie, John and Steve for their invaluable help. In addition to the sales we will receive an order for some possum boxes, bat boxes and a bird box from own Councillor, Scott Mosey. We also had enquiries from 1 gentleman and 1 lady as potential new members. A good day out!
On Wednesday 15th, eleven members of the Shed and three partners enjoyed a morning at the Bullcreek Aviation Heritage Museum, hosted by one for their very knowledgeable guides, David Spicer. Dave who was a member of the RAAF for 27 years, gave us a wonderfully detailed tour of the main attractions at the museum, being the Lancaster Bomber, the DC3, and the Catalina aircraft. A very enjoyable morning enriched with much information, and finished with a tasty lunch at the facilities restaurant. Many thanks Dave for a great morning.
