Today the Shed held it's First Birthday! Yes, it's only been a year since we entered the beautifully upgraded old Bedfordale Fire Station as the Waterwheel Community Shed. Nearly 30 members enjoyed a slice of birthday cake as a reward, after we held a fire drill and familiarisation of emergency procedures! It was so good to see our local councillors, Scott Mosey along with Gary Smith, who joined us to sample the very chocolatey cake provided by Ronnie Hansen. The morning was completed with an excellent bbq hosted by our bbq specialist, David Hawke with helper John Stenhouse. A very rewarding and joyful morning.
